 Job Summary:
Generally responsible for providing assistance to the Human Resources team including administration, benefits, compensation, payroll, recruiting and other duties which may be assigned. Work will be performed under general supervision, but with guidance from the Vice President of Human Resources and Administration. Must be a self starter and enjoy working in a fast paced and challenging environment.
 

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Processing weekly timesheets and benefit accruals.
• Coordinating timesheet errors and line item approvals with the Project Controls group.
• Coordinating payroll recording with the Accounting group.
• Payroll reporting and filing.
• Processing teammate changes such as address, benefit, salary and other changes and coordination with providers as needed.
• Assisting with monthly benefit billing reconciliations for health, dental, life and vision insurance as well as any other vendors as appropriate.
• Assisting with new hire processing as necessary, including orientations.
• Paperwork filing including performance assessments, benefit change forms, payroll related information, personnel change forms, etc. This includes filing hard copies as well as scanning and storing electronically.
• Registering and assisting with preparation of materials and other needs as necessary for health and job fairs or other related human resources events as needed. Assisting in the set up of events, ensuring proper marketing materials and handouts are available.
• Assisting with unemployment audits/verifications.
• Scheduling various meetings for the human resources team.
• Participating in company events as needed.
• Execution of special projects.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
• 2 to 5 years of Human Resources experience in payroll processing and/or benefits administration or a B.S. degree in Human Resources.
• Knowledge of FLSA standards.
• Ability to be discreet in dealing with sensitive situations and maintain confidentiality in all areas.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment, and extreme multi-tasking.
• Attention to detail a must.
• Ability to analyze data, make judgments and develop reports.
• Ability to maintain effective working relationships with teammates, clients, and vendors.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to listen and ascertain the needs of teammates.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat and other software as needed.

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
