Membership Dues

It’s time to pay your 2018 Mobile SHRM chapter dues. Dues payments are due by 12/31 each year, though the grace period extends into January.  

To pay, please log in to your Mobile SHRM account and go to the “Renew” link in “Membership Info” section of the toolbar on the left side of the page.

Note: Dues invoices were sent via email. If you did not receive an invoice, please check your profile to verify that your current email address is in the system, and update if needed.

Diversity Spotlight

January Diversity Observances:

  • January 1: New Year’s Day
  • January 15: Martin Luther King Day commemorates the birth of Martin Luther King, Jr., the recipient of the 1964 Nobel Peace Prize and an activist for non-violent social change until his assassination in 1968.
  • January 21: World Religion Day, observed by those of the Baha’i faith to promote interfaith harmony and understanding. World Religion Day starts sundown of January 17.
  • January 27: The International Day of Commemoration to remember the victims of the Holocaust. The anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz death camp in 1945 and UN Holocaust Memorial Day.

SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP Certification

Mobile SHRM will offer a SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification preparation class in conjunction with MTI Business Solutions starting in January. The cost is $945, which includes the class and the 2018 SHRM Learning System. Classes will meet on 12 Monday evenings between January 29 and May 14, with breaks for Mardi Gras, spring break and a few other events.

Registration is available on a first-come, first-serve basis and is limited to 15 participants. Registration closes on the earlier or January 15 or when all seats are filled.
