This month we welcome Jack Smalley, Director of H.R. Learning & Development for Express Employment Professionals. Jack will lead our mini-seminar, which includes a morning session from 7:30 a.m. (registration opens at 7:00 a.m.) until 11:15 a.m. and a lunch presentation from noon until 1:00 p.m. The morning session, which is approved for 3.5 strategic HRCI recertification credits, will address the topic of “Leading Organizational Excellence by Avoiding the Top Ten Leadership Mistakes.” The lunch session, approved for 1general HRCI recertification credit, will be “Your Endangered Business: Top Five Dangerous Threats Facing Business Today.” Registration is available on the www.mobileshrm.org website.


Registration will open for members and exhibitors to register for the Mobile SHRM Gulf Coast Conference to be held on Friday, November 9, 2012 at the Mobile Convention Center. Registration is $99 for members through August 31, 2012. Registration increases to $119 after September 1, 2012, and $129 after October 1, 2012. Exhibitors’ fees are $375 if paid in full by August 31, 2012. On September 1, 2012, the exhibitors’ fees increase to $450 and on October 1, 2012 to $500.
