Workforce Readiness

Child BookWe are pleased with the generosity of book donations from our members but we have a way to go to meet and exceed our goal! Please consider purchasing a book from the Summer Reading List found on the Mobile SHRM website.
The school we are helping has more than 300 students in kindergarten through the 3rd grade. Many of these students do not have the resources to purchase or borrow these books to complete their reading assignments.
Help us help them be successful and improve the pipeline of future employees for us! It’s easy to donate! Just:

  • Bring your donations to the June mini-conference or the July chapter meeting
  • Drop your donations off at AIM Mail Service (6300 Grelot Rd in the Winn-Dixie shopping center)
Contact Nichelle Evans (workforce@mobileshrm.org) or Carol Statter (past-president@mobileshrm.org) to arrange to have them picked up.
