When I was young (long, long ago), my grandmother used to tell me that the older you get the faster the time flies. Wow, was she right! We are already halfway through 2015 and I have yet to start on most of the projects I planned for this year. For some of us, that also means we are six months closer to our HRCI recertification. Don’t let that deadline slip up on you. Join us this month for Dr. Semoon Chang’s update on the state of the economy and especially the trend of the labor market. Dr. Chang is recognized internationally for his knowledge of the US and world economies and his presentations are always very informative. This one has been approved been approved for 1.0 HRCI credit. We are also finalizing plans for our annual mini conference scheduled for August 14th and Gulf Coast Conference on November 14th. Mark your calendar now to take advantage of these opportunities to earn even more HRCI credits and enhance your professional development. Congratulations to our Mobile SHRM Scholarship Winner!
Lauren Cranford, a junior at the University of South Alabama and a native of Mobile, is the recipient of this year’s Mobile SHRM Scholarship. Along with her studies, Lauren serves as the Vice President of the South Alabama SHRM Student Chapter. Her duties include recruiting and membership. She recently headed a very successful drive to collect school supplies for residents of the Wilmer Hall Children’s Home.

2015 Meeting Sponsorships
